Clyde drove the car slowly towards the main street. They went into a little bar opposite the bank and ate a sandwich. Two minutes before the bank closed, Clyde parked the car in front of the bank and they went in. There was only the casher there. Bonnie pointed guns at him.
“Give us all the money you have,” they ordered. The cashier quickly put the money in a bag. “Here you are,” he said, “please don’t shoot.”
The criminals ran out of the bank and drove out of town.
A young boy sold the newspapers on the corner of the street. “Read about the gangsters, Bonnie and Clyde,” he shouted. “Buy a newspaper.”
The boy sold a lot of papers. Everybody wanted to read about Bonnie and Clyde. Clyde bought a paper. “We are very famous now, Bonnie,” he said.
