Clyde went to look at the opening time for the bank. “What time is it?” he asked Bonnie. “It’s four pm,” she answered. “Good. The bank closes in an hour,” Clyde said. They walked for about ten minutes and saw a big house. Behind the house was a brand new Ford. It was a beautiful car! And certainly very fast. Clyde went to house “Is there anybody at home?” he shouted. Nobody answered so Clyde got in the car.
“Are Keys there? Whispered Bonnie. “No, but just a minute.” Clyde worked for about two minutes and the car started. “How did you do that?” asked Bonnie. “When I lived in New York, a guy called Swift lived next door. He was a car thief.” “I know, said Bonnie, “he taught you how to steal cars, and you taught him to win at poker.” “No,” answered Clyde. “He gave me private lessons and I paid him.”
