“Ha, ha, ha, you won’t catch them sheriff,” said Mrs Brown laughing. “It’s funny,” shouted Mr Taylor. “All our money was in the bank,” “All YOUR money was in the bank,” answered Mrs Brown. “I haven’t got any money in the bank!”
”How much money is there?” Clyde asked Bonnie. “Not much,” she answered,” We must rob a bigger bank, in a bigger city! With a lot of money we can go to Paris! Can you speak French, Clyde?” “No, I can’t but I speak a little Spanish.” “Where did you learn?” asked Bonnie “In Chicago. A young Mexican boy lived next door. He taught me some Spanish.” “How much did you pay him?” “Nothing. I taught him to win at poker!”
“We must change the car,” said Clyde. “The police are looking for it.”
They left the car under some trees and walked into the nearest town. “Look, there’s the bank,” said Clyde. “Can we rob two banks in one day?” asked Bonnie. “I think it will be easy,” said Clyde. “The police won’t expect us at another bank today. But first we must find a fast car.” “And something to eat,” said Bonnie. “I’m, starving!”
