“I’m glad you have a friend,” said Frankenstein. “I want to be your friend too. I want to help you. Now, answer my questions. You saw a little girl in the woods, didn’t you?”
“Yes, I did.”
“Did you see a woman?” asked Frankenstein. “Yes I did,” said the creature. “What did they do? Where did they go?”
“They picked some blackberries and then it started to rain. They put on their raincoats.” “Did you kill them?” asked Frankenstein. “No, I didn’t. I saw them going to the caves.”
“We must find them,” said Frankenstein. “The police think you killed them.”
Frankenstein and the creature went out. They walked out of the town and through the woods. The police and the people were very near. The police had dogs and the scent of the creature was very particular and easy to follow!
