“Look at my flowers,” shouted Frankenstein. “My garden is completely ruined. You idiot. Look at my pond! All the gold fish are dead!”
Frankenstein followed the creature down the road. It went through the town towards the woods. Everybody was in bed and nobody saw it. Frankenstein followed the creature all night, but he couldn’t find it.
Dr. Frankenstein looked for the creature for weeks and weeks. He couldn’t find it.
People talked of a monster in the neighbourhood. Everybody was very frightened.
“The police found the body of a little boy last week,” said one man. “Yesterday a little girl and a woman disappeared,” said another man. “It’s terrible.”
“I saw it,” said the baker. “I was in the woods with my dog and this enormous ‘thing’ picked up my dog.”
