Shortly after sundown, Roderic heard a said noise outside his door.
He opened it and there stood the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. She wore no clothes but her body was discreetly hidden by her lovely, long hair.
"Oh, please, mortal man," she began. "I am a daughter of the sea and I have lost my silky skin and may never return to my brothers and sisters until I find it.."
As Roderick invited her in and gave her a plaid to cover herself with, he knew that he could never let her go. She was too beautiful and he was so lonely.
